Cupcake

An innocent-looking Wildclaw from the Fire territory, Cupcake is anything but innocent. She has learned to defend herself against the attacks of others, and now she will stop at nothing to prove her worth to her new clan leader. As a scavenger, she lives in the desert day after day, finding supplies, money, and food for her clan.

Hatched in the Fire territory, Cupcake was trained to be ruthless in order to defend her sweet, innocent looks. She was often bullied for her fondness of pastel clothing. After many years, however, she grew stronger and more powerful than her bullies. Once able to hold her own, she began dressing in the way that felt comfortable to her, with flowers, lace, and other more delicate items.

When Cupcake reached adulthood, she began travelling farther into the outskirts of the Ashfall Waste, looking for food and new company. When an increase of seismic activity caused several volcanoes to blow, she was cut off from her homeland and forced to flee, lest she be burned alive.

Outside of the Ashfall Waste, her life was very different. There was no fire, no constant heat, and for the first few weeks Cupcake found herself freezing, before she raided a traveling merchant and stole more covering clothes. It was in the desert that she was bitten by an onyx cobra and diseased with the gembond. Even though these gems itch to grow and sometimes bleed, they are often wanted for jewelry making and certain pigments.

In the Shifting expanse she met Tahoe, freshly cursed and running from the Shadowlands. Together, they continued on, ruthlessly hunting and killing any animal or rogue they happened upon. By sheer coincidence, Cupcake and Tahoe stumbled upon Yohn’s small clan in the Shifting Expanse, and have traveled with them from then on.
