High summer Brought the lavender to bloom Sweet and heady And as we ran Through the kitchen gardens Playing at strength We kicked up clouds Of gnats And smells of home That baked in The summer stillness that Followed I did not see the rows of herbs Char black The oils within burning the leaves Like candles In my dreams they drift As the ash From the pages of father's study At the slightest Breath of wind There has been So little time To speak of flowers And remember The heady oak that followed him Or the way ink Stained Mother's hands I see them in dreams But their faces... I remember lavender Spring is warm This year Crocuses came early And fledglings have spread Burgeoning pinions To taste their first flight And teach them To outrace the hawk Magnolia's pale blush dots The hills through Which we traveled And loam sings Beneath our feet Of bountiful harvests some months Yet to come And I catch myself Seeking out Every flower of deep blue And rubbing it Between my fingers Hoping Its fragrance will call me home poem about szillard by @ixris |

Shy and silent, hardly voices his opinions, despite being very sure and confident. Comes from a very troubled past and has many traumas. Will never speak of himself or others, and is very good at keeping up a conversation where you're the only one talking. Likes being left alone, and being surrounded by nature. Despises big cities and prefers the country life. Wants nothing to do with his family, except for his adoptive brother and his twin sister. Kind of feels grateful for them and feels like he owes them something.
