Vega doesn't make a show of turning the first card over - Much like the blind individuals in his own clan, this one can't see it, and he feels that leaves no point to the action. He studies the card for a long while before placing it down.

The minor arcana are a sign of the here and now - This ace, in particular, represents a time of love and compassion," Vega says, "And your cup overflows, my friend. Vega's tail flicks back and forth as he turns over the second card. His face twists in worry, though, at the sight.
"...The Emperor, inverted. This may bode ill, if you see it as such, but do not lose heart." Vega closes his eyes. "Upright, the Emperor is a sign of order and leadership. Inverted, however, it heralds irresponsible leadership, all the traits that come with a terrible king. Your future...It is a time of great anxiety, no? Whatever worry you have, you must learn to let go, lest it consume you. It could also herald losing that control...Though with the last, it may go hand in hand. I am afraid my best advice is...Simply let go. You cannot stop every tragedy."
With that sobering sign out of the way, Vega is prepared to simply end this reading. Keeping his eyes closed, he flips the final card, then turns his gaze upon it.
"Six of Cups, inverted. Hmm...The gravity of the last one may have brought this on, no?" Vega chuckles to himself, trying to lighten the mood. "But it is a sign you are rooted too hard in the past. You must let go and stop taking life as seriously as you do - It is no fun for anyone to simply brood. Take care of yourself, and take care to look ahead, not behind."
As he shuffles the deck, Vega gives Beckett a pitying look. "You must forgive me. I do not decide what the future says. But remember that it is yours to mold - I have given you the guide, but you must decide what to do and where to go...Regardless of what hardship awaits."
