Buttercups has served as a caretaker in our clan. He is one of the very few dragons with the ancestors of the Earthshaker, he can sometimes be quite worried about even little things due to some tragic memories of his past and tries to help as many dragons as possible, for being quite the rare dragon, he is often shamed upon for his origins and his bad tertiary gene. Buttercups is unlike his other golden pals. He has a Buttercup Contour which makes him unique to other fully golden dragons. With a faint tan on top of his head from the contour, he is often criticised for his luck when it comes to colour. Despite this, Buttercups won't allow this to change his passion. He is the clan's caretaker and not a healer or doctor. What he does as an occupation is to take care and look after the injured especially those who need life long support. Injured dragons are often treated with upmost care, going from doctors, to healers to therapists and caretakers such as Buttercups himself. He often supports the injured dragons with emotional, medical and physical treatment such as herbs, medication and special diets. Despite the criticism from other dragons, close friends such as Judge will often compliment his colours. Buttercups and Judge often hang out together when Judge has a break. Being the only few golden dragons of the lair, they are not allowed to go out and hunt beasts with their fellow warriors because of their golden facet and reflections. Buttercups wears a special daisy flower crown sent as a present from Judge to let him know that he is unique and still appreciated. Buttercups takes care of many dragons, mostly the clan warriors who often get hurt in the coliseum. Other dragons who visit him are: foragers, hunters, fishers, bug hunters, young hatchlings and older disabled dragons. The older dragons are a frequent site with Buttercups. After all if nobody cared enough to take care of them, they wouldn't be here still living a decent life. Buttercups loves building relationships with his patients, especially the young hatchlings and clan warriors. Buttercups is one of the few dragons who works full time. Since his job isn't as dangerous as some of the other dragons, he is happy to work 24 hours and 7 days a week. He just looks after and checks up of his patients when they are either wounded or upset. He always keeps his patient's daily needs in separate containers so that they won't get mixed up. Each individual needs unique medication and care and any mix ups can kill a dragon. Damien is Buttercup's partner. She is the clan psychiatrist and focuses more on the mental side of dragon's health. Buttercup takes care of the physical and emotional whilst Damien focuses more on mental health. This is just for good measure in case any dragons witness any trauma from their injuries. This is more common in younger dragons but just as likely to occur in older, more experienced dragons as well. Buttercups often gets compliments on his colours by his patients, especially the disabled dragons who often say his golden colours are very soothing to the eye. Buttercups usually likes using herbs and medicinal plants from his homeland Dragonhome, to help soothe headaches, stomachaches, migraines and even digestive problems. He often grows many different flowers to bring to his work everyday and show them off to his patients. He has always had a passion to garden and sometimes tries to identify weeds that begin to flower outside of the lair. |
