Marbles is a carefree, cheerful but fairly shy dragon. She is the mate of Stripes and a clan gardener. Since gardening is much more different to commercial and subsistence farming, Marbles does gardening rather as a hobby. Her job is important to the lair because the clan values a clean but hidden lair concealed from other neighbouring dragon clans. She takes care of a diversity of plants and trees and even bring some insects and birds inside the lair to pollinate blossoming flowers.

The first time Marbles was brought into the lair, Stripes had an eye on her for a while. Marbles grew wary of Stripes seeing that he was a plague dragon which is the opposite of her own element. Afraid of what plague dragons are capable of, Marbles grew fearful over the young warrior who just wanted to get to know her. After days turned to months, the two eventually began to talk and Marbles started to learn more about Stripes and how he isn't quite like how plague dragons were depicted in stories.

Now the bond between Marbles and Stripes were almost unbreakable, although Marbles reluctantly stays and waits for Stripes to come back from the coliseum, he would bring back heaps of food and trinkets within just an hour. After his daily shift from his work is done, Marbles would often be seen sitting near Stripes in a nearby cliff of the clan admiring the landscape together. Occasionally Stripes will take Marbles on a trip to the training grounds for practice, never daring enough to show her around the higher more dangerous venues such as the mire or the kelp beds where she could easily get hurt.

Her familiar is very unique in itself, the wooden marionette became her life long companion ever since she had a close relationship with Stripes. Since the marionette looks so similar to her mate, its her only companion when Stripes is out to farm for elemental currencies or food. The wooden marionette enjoys hanging themselves on top of branches, dragons and plants but when tossed onto the ground, it is unable to move itself and flails helplessly until Marbles finds out.

With a unique bond with Stripes also helps her out with knowing her clan mates. Marbles would often borrow books from nearby libraries to study other elements, she loves to read and often share many stories with her closer dragon friends. Whilst working, Marbles spends most of her time admiring the plants she takes care of, as a plant becomes far to big or tall, she would trim it down for the herbivorous dragons to feast on.

Occasionally Stripes would prank Marbles on multiple occasions, such pranks can be of: scaring her with plague magic, pouring a clawful of Marbles on Marbles, drawing using markers on her face whilst she's asleep or even bringing her to an unfamiliar area of the clan and leave her there. Usually Marbles wouldn't get too upset about it and so she will occasionally do the same things to Stripes in a lighthearted way.

For apparel, Marbles would wear an aqua headband and a green and white scarf, resembling Stripes's apparel. Marbles will often wear Arctic wear especially in the colder times of the year and wouldn't mind staying inside the lair for the entire week is she so desires. She would often receive some gifts from Stripes even if it is small trinkets such as an owlcat journal and her favourite, a cheerful bird toy.

Clan decoration is also another job of the Gardener's. She decorates the lair with plenty of bright flowers ranging from tulips, orchids, roses to snapdragons, juneflowers and jasmine. Not to mention she also adds various low light plants to the cave: bluelipped thresh, milkweed. Several other species such as cattail, aloe vera and treasure plant belong in her own personal garden. Which is also a popular resting spot for many dragons.

She provides fishermen with earthworms from her own compost and grows plenty of vegetables for fun. Despite that, she finds it hard to get them to be as big as the ones from trade. She often loses herself in thought while strolling around in her own mini forest. Taking knitting as a hobby to pass time, you can often find her humming a nice melody when others aren't nearby. She is friendly but a bit shy when others approach her but she is extremely open to helping others find their way in the clan.
