He refers to himself as Jade and is the clan's Nature Ambassador surprisingly. Sacrificing his wind powers, he gave devotion to the earth itself and its life. There wasn't much to begin with, his parents parted ways with him long before he could even know anything, "What's the purpose of moving forward if you were always lost?" Everyday, Jade would take care of the plants and shrubs that grow outside the lair where streams of hot volcanic water would flow. On his breaks, jade would just stand atop his pedestal staring upon the sky like a piece of stone. Jade's job is to represent the nature dragons of the clan, although he isn't originally born from nature origins. He has stayed in many nature clans across Sornieth. Journeying across the world, Jade stumbled into a clan in the windswept plateaus to settle in. He carries around himself a gold steampunk scarf and a pearl bracelet wherever he goes. Often times he'd looking out for passing dragons and bring up meetings with other nature dragons. Although most dragons are content with Stonejade being their ambassador, some refused to accept Jade as one. Jade is unlike most windy dragons, he isn't carefree and doesn't wish to constantly seek new journeys. He lacks the defining traits of a windy dragon since he has grown accustomed to the company of nature dragons. He is instead, much more patient, calm and reserved. Grown accustomed to growing plants and foraging, Jade isn't very popular with the windy dragons of the clan. Jade has a passion for stone crafting. He loves to keep his collections of various gemstones and rocks into his own section of the hoard. From marbles to amethysts to even normal rocks, Stonejade can turn almost anything into a gorgeous looking stone such as the ones you see on necklaces. If you just asked him to craft something for you whether as a gift for a friend or just for yourself, he'd be more than happy to get you a pretty gemstone crafted in hours. He can often be seen holding a bouquet of daisies or various flowers. It is always a requirement whenever he goes to meet someone and it helps to keep the room smelling nice and fragrant. He can just about sniff out any kind of flower and identify it by just the scent. His favourites always tend to be more soft on the nose like a vanilla flower. His feathers around his head are especially sensitive and a slight brush can send it twitching uncontrollably. As a hatchling, other dragons would always bully him for it Jade has tried cooking before, but returned to report a burning kitchen. He's patient and focused but too clumsy sometimes. Adding in too many ingredients or forgetting to check the oven. Though in some occasions, he would proudly take out an obviously overcooked toast for others to try. Other dragons would continuously coax him into never going back into the kitchen but he is determined to learn from his mistakes. Most of his food turns out black each time. He's eaten his food once thanks to his friend and since then, vowed to never cook again. Jade has a knack for carving out small stone statues, some in the shape of great imperials, koi fish or even the Tidelord's vicious waves. He owns a collection of bead necklaces and various wooden animal crafts. He panics whenever hatchlings play around with them and his feathers stand on edge, scaring them away unintentionally. He sometimes gets to see photos of some of the dragons having fun away in another continent, he gets inspired to recreate them in the form of rock craft. He uses rocks for the body and pretty gems for their eyes. His collection has even gotten attention from buyers, to which he declines all of their offers. |
