Phantomine is the only active dragon with his colour combination as well as a 2nd gen. Phantomine is the clan hoarder, everyday he heads outsides to dig or scavenge, with powerful claws and hind legs designed to dig out dirt, he brings back a hefty amount of treasure and materials. Sometimes, he'd finds eggs, sometimes he gets bones. It really depends on where he goes and occasionally when he finishes gathering, he can be found just napping in his den or helping out his clan mates. Phantomine commonly refers to himself as Phantom. He is very patient when on one of his scavenging moments since patience is key when looking for loot. Phantom brings back a hefty amount of Holiday Currency from each of the monthly celebrations. He is always seen wearing an Emerald Deepsea Bulb, it's purpose is it help aid him in his daily mining sprees but he keeps it on because he enjoys its comforting light. One of the important things Phantom must remember is the weather condition's impact on the soils. There's morning mist that makes his scavenging difficult. In the afternoon, the sun is at its brightest and at night it would be too dark to search. The best times are after breakfast and just before dawn. However in reality, his job is a pretty boring one. Apart from those two times he's free to do whatever. So he partakes in a multitude of events that the clan itself prepares. Winning a few extra lucky snacks or gambling. Most of the time, he would end up with a bundle of bones. They're not worth much but to traders that want them they can be valuable if stacked. Occasionally he'll come across a bottle of coins, however he wonders how someone can be so careless to drop a total of 3 stacks in a month. Along his travels, he also keeps a pouch tied around his waist. They are pack full of tools and used as a small storage for his finds. His favourite items during his travels tends to be pretty gemstones found around rivers and trails. He would gaze endlessly into their smooth polished reflection. Materials such as ores, wooden planks and bamboo shoots are in high demand and the clan often uses them for decoration around the lair. If he gets lucky, he strikes gold and silver which are useful for bargaining with Swipp. Ravines, tall ledges and rock falls are the biggest dangers to Phantomine and his digging. He nearly lost a limb one time and warns hatchlings to be careful of journeying outside alone. He earned himself a place in the clan where dragons have noticed his keen sense of eyesight and patience. "It's comforting really, knowing that after you spend your time trying and searching for useful materials you get rewarded with the satisfaction of helping out your clan and getting a well deserved break." It's just when days are pouring nonstop that I can't have that satisfaction. I can't go on break and I'm substituted instead to help out another dragon's job. I can't do that! Some things I'm just not cut out for, I'm no doctor or engineer or even a hunter and that means I have to learn, for what? Only a few days of substitution? I guess I can only allow myself to think positively, better to do something for the clan than just sitting around am I right? |
