They smile and laugh and enjoy your parties, but deep down you know they'll never see you as one of them.

Wild child with a crippling fear of loneliness and abandonment. Clingy, prone to buying lavish gifts, comes off as a bit desperate. Parties too hard and regrets it in the morning but does it again the next night anyway. Has no real friends and knows it, but has decided to believe that fairweather friends are better than none.

Never up before noon; afternoon tea is often the first meal of the day. Afternoon tea is serious business and is not to be missed. Business can come after tea... but there never is any business.

Courtier, but certainly not nobility. Has seemingly endless income. No one has any idea where it comes from but it never seems to run out. As far as anyone can tell, he simply showed up at court one day and invited himself in. If anyone wonders why the Crown permits an irresponsible young fool of completely unknown lineage to remain in the court, they haven't bothered to say anything about it. Few genuinely care one way or the other, but the Spiral does throw a good party.

Surprisingly street-savvy for a rich layabout. Often visits the City's lower levels and is, for the most part, not disliked by the general populace. Once gave a coinpurse to Buirkan after watching the Pearlcatcher win over a crowd with a particularly far-fetched sob story. Wasn't fooled, just impressed at Buirkan's shamelessness. Hasn't seen the street urchin since, but would never admit to keeping an eye out.
