The longneck hunter is a great choice of familiar for adventurers, especially those who wish not to perish.

Before you even have a chance to consider where to look for more dragons to meet, a coatl bumps into you, causing the contents of her bag to spill in a somewhat comical fashion. As the two of you quickly gather the supplies that fell out, you continuously apologise to each other. She should've been looking - oh, it wasn't her fault, you promise her! After a few minutes, her stuff is sorted again, and she's just about to set off again when you take the opportunity to introduce yourself. She apologises yet again - where on Sornieth are her manners? - and tells you that her name is Avna.

Where is she going? Simple question, really. Wherever she wants to go! She follows her whims and has ended up in a number of territories. Some have been... less welcoming than others, naturally, but most are friendly! She met her companion this way, she says as she gestures to the longneck hunter that you somehow failed to notice before now. It's sharpening an axe, and looks at you with intrigue.

Unfortunately for your burgeoning friendship, it's time for her to leave! She bids you farewell and scutters off, ready for her next adventure. You hope she'll be ok.
