Creative • Kind • Impatient PERSONALITY: Pegrin is kind and considerate, although he can be sometimes a little impatient. He is very creative, and takes lots of pride in his transmutation abilities. He is always looking to expand his knowledge of the world, and often goes out looking for new familiars he could learn from and potentially transform into. Don't ask him to teach you though; his impatience and his understanding of transmutation sorely get in the way of his teaching abilities, and it is impossible to learn anything from him from teaching alone. ______ Pegrin is of the Light, he has become the leader of a Wind clan through what can only be described as luck and a desire for change.
______ When Pegrin was only a month old, he left his Light clan in search for change. He became heavily involved in magic, and became obsessed with the practice of transmutation - the magic of changing one thing into another. Following the southern breeze, Pegrin picked up a myriad of transmutation spells from clans of all over, and gained the ability to transform almost anyone into anything. By the time he discovered his new clan of the Wind (the same on that led him on his journey), he had picked up a whole range of nicknames thanks to his transmutation abilities: the Changeling, the Genie, and his favorite, Pegrin of Change.
______ The story of how he became clan leader is more simple than most would think. The particular breeze he was following led him straight to Swimp clan, which was at the time very small and very new. At this particular time, the clan was welcoming new members with open arms and open space, and Pegrin was relieved to find a place called home after all those months of wandering. Getting in was a breeze, but becoming the clan leader was a whole other story. With all this power he had, Pegrin decided that if he couldn't become the leader of the clan, his powers would be wasted. He challenged and faced off with the current clan leader, Genie, whose physical prowess was outmatched by Pegrin's cunning and entertaining magic show. During the duel, the Changeling suprised Genie every second by changing into all of the familiars he had come across along his journey. Every 5 seconds he turned into a new familiar, and eventually outmatching Genie by a landslide, therefore claiming the title and responsibilities of Clan Leader.
