tumblr_p3pvhceT5U1tv56zio3_100.pngA trained scribe, this dragon spends his day recording all major events of his time. It seems he is never not writing away about something in his journals and scrolls.

Once upon a time Bathyal was a scholar, one who had grand dreams of traveling to the Light or Arcane territories to persue his studies. But after witnessing history: the resurfacing of ancient dragons the likes of which were thought to have been lost to time, he decided to document information for the new generations rather than wait for it to be written by others. Aranthra assists him with historical events of past and present. In his free time he writes poetry and fantastical anecdotes; he hosts an open house poetry night every week!

At the end of they day Bathyal is but another author, albeit one flecked with the night sky as he inks the passage of time. Around his shoulders sits the Cloak of Cosmos, a gift from the heavens above. Every star on Bathyal’s scales is payment for a story or document he has written, and every day he earns more. Consequently this curiosity that drives him so can get him on the bad side of many dragons. His natural hyperactivity that comes with being a Spiral dragon leads him to be constantly asking others questions and studying artifacts or old texts from the times before the beast wars.
