Biography
KOROS / THE KEEPER / SHE/HER
The matron of the Summer Court, Koros's commitment to her newfound family is absolute.
The matron of the Summer Court, Koros's commitment to her newfound family is absolute.
Whether she came from the sea or the sunrise, she does not know.
Her first footsteps were over the slackened tide as the sun rose at her back, dyeing the sky in shades of orange and violet and pink. She stretched her newborn wings freely, feeling her heart start to beat, feeling her mind come into being.
The first eyes to look upon her were his as he walked upon the shore. Their eyes met, and a smile graced her face.
All things as they are meant to be.
---
We celebrate the earth, for granting us its bounty. We celebrate the gods, for giving us magic. We celebrate our friends, for loving us. We celebrate love.
But we celebrate little things too: the rain. Dew on flowers, and the flight of birds. The patterns of veins through bone. New books, new stories.
The light through the trees beckons. Won't you join us?
And at the end of the dance-- well. We'll see, won't we?

Her heart of solid gold
next to her family she is bold
for she brings the best out of others
with set rules she blunders
her pink is like a rising sun
a sign to go and have some fun
A wonderfully sweet poem by WarriorOfEarth #526152!
