△▼△ Seraph | Demi-Goddess | Ghost •• ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ •• Mesopotamian/Sumerian mythology: The "Queen of the Great Earth" ist the goddess of the land of the dead or underworld. She is the only one who could pass judgment and give laws in her kingdom. The claws of love, the poisons of brothels, All slips and all is blunted on her granite skin. She laughs at Death and snaps her fingers at Debauch. The hands of those monsters, ever cutting and scraping, Have respected nonetheless the pristine majesty Of her firm, straight body at its destructive games. She walks like a goddess and lures all mortals with her eyes. She believes, she knows, this virgin, sterile And yet essential to the march of the world, That a beautiful body is a sublime gift That wrings a pardon for any foul crime. She is unaware of Hell and Purgatory And when the time comes for her to enter The black Night, she will look into the face of Death As a new-born child, — without hatred or remorse. Ereshkigal is a seraphic demi-goddess and warrior, and the leader of the Krypta Cult which is devoted to "the Apeiron" and his Hidden Revolution, and specializes in creating powerful rituals and spells, in healing abilities, and in seeking for the truth which reaches the true gods and solves all riddles of this mysterious world. Once existing in the realm of the dead and the underworld, Ereshkigal joined the revolution for cryptic and unknown reasons to support her master against the "the Aether" and "the God", trying to hide her cult from their divine eyes. Seeking a place far away from the Hidden Sanctum, so that the plans and rituals the Krypta Cult is preparing for their revolution don't get discovered, Vishnu and Lakshmi opened an enigmatic portal to a secret place during their dark meditations and rituals. The portal opened, and a mysterious entity appeared in front of their eyes: Njada, the first mother, leader of the Cult of Mor. Realizing that the Krypta Cult was worthy and dignified to affiliate, and that they most likely were connected by fate to work together towards a higher end, a new alliance began ... :: Affiliated to the Cult of Mor :: Working towards a secret and hidden revolution under an ancient God's reign and hoping to build a new clan of eternal justice, the Krypta Cult has been desperately searching for a safe haven, where their plans and rituals don't get discovered. One fateful day two ritualists unknowingly opened a magical and enigmatic portal which directly led to the Cult of Mor. Acknowledging their cultic powers and being interested in their causes, Njada gives them a sanctuary they can use as a shelter. As time passes, both Cults start working together closely, learning from and about each other. Njada and Ereshkigal hold meetings in private to discuss things of importance, including otherworldly eldritch gods and monsters which have to be defeated, and an obscure past where the Krypta Cult gained forbidden knowledge about Njada's arch enemies. Maybe, in the end, their paths will lead to the same place ... |
