Faust is an entomologist by trade - it seemed a natural fate for her who had been fascinated by insects since shortly after her hatching. She has spent much of her adult life traveling the continents of Sornieth, trailing after rare and endangered species. Her journals have gained a solid following in recent years, and she drops off new manuscripts for publishing whenever she has a chance.

Despite her steady career and arguably adventurous lifestyle, Faust has always had a tendency to keep her eyes on bigger and better things, even to her own detriment. When she accidentally stumbled on a nest of entities known as the Hivemind, instead of fleeing like any sane dragon might, she set up camp nearby and began writing new journals on the not-quite-insect, not-quite-draconian creatures.
