Though unlike elemental dragons, who are born in the flight of the element they will serve in, trans-elemental dragons are born in a flight that does not correspond with the element they are destined to serve. They carry characteristics of both elements, but their destined element dominates for the most part. Trans-elemental Water dragons who were born in the Ice flight share a lot of similarities with regular elemental Water dragons: They are spontaneous, skittish and energized. Their Ice element influences them greatly, however, and so they are more composed, stubborn and frigid than regular elemental Water dragons. How much these characteristics shine through is very different for each dragon, though.
