Andrine was born under a blanket of a crimson night filled with too many stars and an equal number of infinite, yet uncertain futures. Legend states that she was born with scales as white and pale as Edel's snowy desert and a sickly cough racked her tiny, frail body every other second. She suffered in sickly silence, her parents praying for the gods to help their daughter pull through. The gods took pity on her poor soul, grasping her gently in their claw tips, whispering and chanting ancient spells and rhymes to save the hatchling. And saved she was, instead of staying a mortal dragon, Andrine was blessed with the powers of the gods themselves and granted immortality for her perseverance and determination. Her white fur became as red as the sky of stars that night and her body coursed with a newfound power. That day, sings and praises were sung up above to Andrine and the gods, sacrifices made, celebrations thrown, and all was well for dragonkind. Andrine is akin to a publicity stunt for the gods, another way to make the mortals below praise them more, to indulge their desires; and she's aware of this. Despite her new powers, she still pales in comparison to lords like Frigis or even Eventide, essentially being made to run their chores or messages. Now she sits planted firmly in the mortal realm to check up on a society that seems to loathe the lords more and more daily.

Andrine was wary of the demigod when Prisma first arrived on her doorstep, thinking she was a dragon sent to monitor her nonexistent progress and findings with the moral realm. Prisma eventually wormed her way into her heart by just listening to Andrine.

Cotopaxi was her way to reach the Clan of Red Roses from afar, the group of dragons she's mainly supposed to focus on. Their relationship turned more into a mentor and a student though as Andrine gently guides her through her new powers.
