If any dragon could believe it or not, Haeta was once the empress of a powerful nation. She was a tyrannical and selfish one though, as while she was a stellar war leader, the lands she conquered suffered under her reign. When the villagers and soldiers of her land eventually stormed her palace in revolt, a bolt of lightning that seemed to be sent from the gods themselves struck Haeta. And the next time Haeta opened her eyes, drowsy and worn, she woke up as a little Nocturne hatchling in Tirwyn's arms. Everyone in Roost's Edge could hear Haeta screech in horror when she saw her reflection for the first time. And while she constantly claims she's an empress, not a single dragon, bar her foster father, takes her seriously. Although some spots of her memory are slightly patchy. Haeta just makes up whatever makes her sound good to fill those spots

RELATIONSHIPS

Haeta spends most of her time in Timo's care, constantly blabbering to him and any other hatchlings in the nursery about her former life. Timo seems patient enough to hear her out for hours; he, like every other dragon though, just laughs her claims off.

Tirwyn is the only dragon who believes Haeta being an empress in her past life, considering he's was alive when she was one. Haeta doesn't say it, but she appreciates that Tirwyn believes her.
