Due to an accident during the incubation process, Lyse hatched a day earlier than other dragons which is responsible for her smaller stature than that of an average Snapper. Being small for her breed, and then moving into a clan with so many larger dragons resulted in her having a sense of inadequacy and discomfort which often comes off as severe introversion. However, once you get to know her, you soon find that she is a kind and gentle dragon who enjoys hanging out with smaller dragons. Because she spends a lot of time with coatls, she’s become quite adept in their language, and often has to act as translator for the rest of the clan.

She is the main caretaker for the clan’s hatchlings, and loves spending her time doing crafts with them, using various precious stones and materials that she hoards to make into decorations and gifts for the rest of the clan. She’s not a particularly religious dragon, but privately makes offerings to the Earthshaker as a way to honour her ancestral path.
