It echoes in his head. A constant repeat of a song sending doom to anyone around. Being in the right place at the wrong time can be fatal, and for his parents, it was. A curse now bestowed upon him because of his parents failed move. Scout's parents wanted to move and found the perfect clan to move to. They took a boat to move, but it was the wrong time to take it. The Sirens were singing their song. Enchanting any dragon and every dragon on the water at the time. Sadly, for Scout, that meant his parents. The Ocean saw Scout as he was drowning and took an interest to him. The Ocean couldn't let him get away without anything done to him, but couldn't make her Sirens kill him, so she cursed him. Every few months as dragons are overtaken by the song he feels the pain and remorse of every one of them and often shuts every dragons out.
