Biography
A fire-proofed basket containing a young hatchling was left at one of the Guild of the Breeze's entrances. Tacked onto the basket was a letter that read:
"To Whom It May Concern,
This is Ashcatcher. He is a gentle child, never meaning to harm anything or anyone. Unfortunately the source of his magic, the Flamecaller's fire, is one of the more destructive elements among the Eleven, as you know. He is already quite gifted with magic despite his young age. This has led to quite a few burn marks in his nest and his surroundings. This would not have been an issue had he remained in the Ashfall Wastes as they are well equipped and experienced with little pyromancers but we can barely contain the small fires that he keeps accidentally creating.
I know it is not fair of us to give him to you stranger(s) but we do not have the resources to care for him in the way he deserves and we hope that the Guild of Breeze can or can connect him to a clan that can. I can only ask this request of you: Please take care of him, ensure that he knows that he is loved, and don't make him believe that he is feared amongst his family and friends

The fire-proof lining of the basket was later used to make a robe for Ashcatcher at his request. His memories of his prior clan have since faded but he swears that he can smell them when he holds his robe close to his face.
