Biography

Aged director of Battling Affairs and honored Overseer of Troops. He insisted on the titles. And on putting those unfortunate enough to be stuck as his caretaker for the day on forced marches, obstacle courses, and lectures about his many adventures.
Mag is quite old, and the oldest in his clan. While the hatchlings adore his story-telling prowess, his alternating caretakers joke fondly about him joining the Gladekeeper's service. When Mag isn't spinning yarns, he's reading them and he is often found in Histori's library examining any new copies that come in.

In his younger years, Mag spent some time wandering through the Plaguelands on his journey out of Arcane territory. While there, he stumbled upon a young Wildclaw living near the Wyrmwound. She had no parents looking after her and was known to fend for herself, but something about her situation motivated Mag to take her with him. Shemer showed a spark for magic and he was eager to see what her power could turn into once it was honed. The two travelled together towards the Blooming Gardens when they were discovered by Archizoun. He explained how he found them, about his complicated Charge, and about his clan, which he offered them a place in. Having no where else to go, they accepted.

Shemer continued to grow in strength and power the longer they resided in Ligare, and Mag continued to train her in both the arts of war and magic. Alas, she eventually hit a barrier she couldn't surmount. Her magic abilities had reached their limit, an admittedly average one at that. As she began distancing herself out of shame, he made fewer and fewer efforts to train her as well and, despite their previously close bond, they began to drift apart.

Over the years Shemer still made time to see Mag on occasion, but they were never as close as before. There would always be a distance between them now.
