Personnality

She often quarrels with her brother Azeblade and has a rivalry with Emberyl. She has difficulties understanding her nest sister, Aemyth and Thystae, and always tries to prove she's the best upon her siblings. She doesn’t have a lot of predispositions for any subject, and has an average ability and interest in magic, which is highly prized by the clan leaders and her more competent siblings. But as she fears to be rejected, she thinks she has to be the best to be valued so that’s why she works so hard to catch up her siblings.
She pragmatically classifies her life with priorities and finding love is not one of them at all. She thinks it may come one day but for now she isn’t especially seeking it. She would like her mate to love her for what she is, and not demanding her to be anything else. She hopes for someone that could tell her “you don’t have to force yourself anymore to be better the the others in everything you do, because I love you for your amazing unique qualities that nobody else has…”. She has a crush on Guardian, Tundra and Skydancer dragons.
She strongly wants to be admitted as a valuable and reliable clan member, and she would like the others to acknowledge her great efforts. She dreams to be naturally really good at something she likes to do and that anybody else can do, but she absolutely don’t know what.

Childhood

The arrival of Cidulae, Emberyl, Myrteerie and Elyäh had not been easy for her, because some of them were gifted in magic, studiying, or flying, praised subjects of Sedewus. She tries her best to be as good as the other and works hard. She gradually proved to be rather skilled in crafting, but the clan didn’t have the materials and nobody was able to teach her how to do. She almost gave up when Elyäh began to show some crafting skills.

Mystblade as a child :

Teenage age

When she saw Aemyth asking for beeing trained in more advanced magic and admitted in the defense squad, she did the same, not willing to be useless and let behind, and she felt more confortable with the idea of fighting than gathering supplies and managing the camp (espacially with Thystae and Cidulae constant gossip). She proved herself beeing a though warrior, loyal to her family and ready to tear their enemies in pieces.

When Rubyus came to the camp, he quickly showed his exceptional skill in fighting – he was a born warrior and received an intensive training since his very first days. He was younger than Mystblade and even if didn’t even reach his adult form, he was better than her. At first, she was totally discouraged and ready to give up her place in the defender squad to let him go when he would be older. But then, she realized by talking with Myrteerie in a strange self-monologue that she liked her role and doesn’t want to give it up, so she assembled her courage, let her pride behind, and came to Rubyus to ask him if he would share his fighting knowledge with her. At her great surprise, he immediately accepted without difficulties. That’s how he became his fighting teacher : he is though, hardworking and very demanding, but that matches what Mystblade is, and their quite surprising association works well.

Adulthood
She still doen't believe how it came that Adriel is in love with her.
One day, he came nearby the clan. Mystblade was training alone in the bamboo woods not far from the entrance, and then she saw him arriving with his quiet pace. He saw her and his face enlighted. His first words for her were "I was looking for you for so long !"
Then he explained with great relief that he had made a very long trip from the Sea of a Thousand Currents to find her. He said he received he vision of his life mate that was just her, and from then he followed other visions until he found her.
At the beginning, Mystblade didn't trust him - he seems totally crazy to her pragmatic mind. But he was nice and helpful, and the clan invited him to stay a bit to rest from his long journey. The other mages and mystics of the clan attested of his oracle gift as a Water dragon, especially Myrteerie thanks to his ability to see personnified magic fluxes.
But Mystblade persisted in not believing him - because she felt like it was too beautiful to be true. She couldn't believe one dragon could come for her to love her just because she was herself, and because the fate and gods designated her to be the most perfect mate for him. All the other clan members decided to help Adriel, who seemed just to enjoy the presence of Mystblade, so he spend hours quietly sitting next to the place she was, not distrubing her if she didn't want to.
That's thanks to another self-monologue with Myrteerie that Mystblade understood she only wanted to trust him and decided to give it a try, because it could be the incredible chance of her life to find the dragon she dreamed for.
Now, she his absolutely happy with the calm and reassuring Tundra she loves most. At the beginning, she seemed very detached, but the slightest threat on the pacific Adriel and she would come to destroy it. Thanks to him, she took a lot more of self-confidence and is not so obsessed with being the best.
She even became better at fighting with her training with Rubyus and came to think that she could train young one too, with her sisterAemyth as mage fighning trainer, as Rubyus, Tyharval and Mantyr's fightning team became the main defending team of the clan.
