Lavarock

I have lived for centuries. I have seen the the rise and fall of many a species, of many a kingdom. I have watched as they slaughtered my kin for sport and stolen our eggs. I have witnessed the dragon hunts, and have survived to reach my ancienthood. In return, I have burned down thousands of villages and destroyed armies. Knights threw themselves into my maw to their deaths. Do not mourn, for their demise was well deserved! But even then, our kind has lost the respect, the fear, the worship of the lesser races. The Drow, the Humans, the elves and the Fae. No longer do they care. Even the Centaur and the Merfolk treat the mighty Dragons like filth!

BUT NO MORE, MY KIN! NO MORE SHALL WE SUFFER! We will rise up once more and strike down those that dare rise against us. Again we will be revered above all else! Shrines will be erected in our honor and sacrifices given to the most high and mighty. They will learn their place once more, or they will burn beneath the shadow of my wings.
