B I O G R A P H Y
______ She was the the first to come to this stretch of land. A spacious meadow hugged on one side by a mountain range that swept steeply up towards the skies, and a river that was fed by the glacial waters that came from the icecaps. It seemed normal at first as she meandered about with her hand trailing through the tall grasses, but there was a current of energy that danced underneath it all.
______ It was electric to her senses and grew in intensity as she neared a large oak tree. She stopped at the base of its broad trunk and gazed into its towering canopy, which rustled in the faint breeze. As she laid her palm on its bark, she gasped as images and colors flooded her mind. She saw the environment around her, or rather the tree, speed by. The color shifting and blending by the passage of time until it jerked to a halt on a silhouette in the distance walking closer. Her.
______ She pulled back her hand as though she had touched fire and backed up a several steps. Emrys was its name. It was given to the tree during the third or fourth decade of its very long life. She circled around the tree before pressing her palms together in front of her lips, she bowed to the old entity and walked back to the periphery of the energetic zone. So much power steeped here...
______ Though ley lines were well known for their links to energies, nexus points were a rare find since most faded after a certain portion of their reservoir was consumed. This spot, however, was untapped and saturated by time and what made it special was the fact it was anchored to a tree. The oak's resilience was enhanced by the energy, which stabilized the nexus in turn. It was a self-perpetuating cycle as long as the balance was maintained.
______ A smile, almost akin to a smirk, curled on her lips as she gazed back at the old tree. The space was perfect. She will build a community here with respect and ample space accorded to the oak. She didn't know who would come, but they would find this place for she will set a spell to call out to them.
