Coral Creature
"I can't stop moving. I'm like this weird insect. I can't sit still in real life."

It truly is amazing how many intelligent creatures are brought into this world by those who treat “nature’s laws” more like guidelines. One day, a lightning dragon was tinkering with types of natural armor and an unhatched water egg. Their goal was to hopefully create a dragon who would be sturdier than those without a hardened shell.

The experiment was a semi-success; however, it ended up affecting the hatchling and creating an odd hybrid of a type of coral, a deep sea armored fish, and a water dragon. While Shui can go on land, he prefers the water. The obelisk’s body - while not fully converted - is partially armored with the coral and scales, which gives him a leg up in defending himself or his territory.

Shui stayed with his creator for a while, but the tides eventually called him out into the world. Following the instinctual draw, the large dragon found himself at Chaotic Daydreams. Here, he met Dianda, the small dragon who thinks she is a mermaid. The fearless fae needs someone to look out for her - especially when she challenges too-large creatures who come into the bay uninvited.

When not looking after his friend, Shui enjoys collecting seashells and has various types of armored insects as pets in a specially-made chamber in his underwater den. He doesn’t mind being an experiment, and has determined that it doesn’t matter how someone came into the world… it only matters what they do while they are living in it.
