There was never any such thing as the Twin Jades of the Gaoshan Opera Troupe.

For all that he was better than others, people had unanimously and silently agreed that the difference between him and Yu Bo'ya was like Heaven and Earth; he was a mere mortal, while Bo'ya was the lofty immortal soaring above the clouds.

He did not think them wrong either. If the public saw Yu Bo'ya as an immortal among humans, then to him, he was a god worthy of worship and praise of a thousand years. Others merely admired; but he. He revered.

There was no other person he had held in as high regard as Yu Bo'ya.

...Regardless of the times he had been hurt, again, and again. Each time, he quietly picked up the shattered pieces of his heart and held them together.

Perhaps one day they would finally be ground to dust.
