Born to Clan Diamond Dust of the Southern Icefield, from an early age Eclipse was known to be a reclusive and introspective dragon prone to taking long lonesome walks through the icey plains late into the night. It was staring up into the frigid icy air that Eclipse found his meaning and purpose in the world, his charge. Now an aged and weathered dragon, Eclipse roams the permafrost wastes following the moon in its wake. He serves it as homage to the light in the dark. A beacon of radiance in the pitch that can be stark winter nights of the Southern Icefield.

Eclipse sleeps only when the moon is out of sight and returns to the clan rarely, for he has no den. When he does return home on cloudy nights, it is only to exchange goods and food before he is on his way again, self-reliant and self-sufficient in his cause.

Though he greatly prefers his own company Eclipse has duties to those other than his silent watcher. He watches the empty snowbound plains in the moonlight, leading travelers, lost and defeated that stumble upon him to safety and solace of the clan or otherwise to the sanctuary of their destination, though these number few in the Southern Icefields.

An expert of surviving in harsh conditions, on clear nights Eclipse lead the honored through the trails that are the Fortress of the Ends to serve the protector of the lands.

Eclipse is a great hulking guardian, heavily clad in chains and armor and as such in his travels he patrols the out territories of the clan, moon allowing, disposing threats and dangers as he crosses them.

Through all of this those that meet Eclipse will likely never hear him speak more than a few words whether it be a calm command to follow or the deep growling threat to leave. Although Eclipse considers The Adnix Devorandeum to be his home the dragon cares very little for its other inhabitants.
