B I O G R A P H Y

Born to a pair of obsidian and silver Coatl parents, this dragon is the spitting image of his father, save for the ice-imbued pale eyes he boasts. In a rare set of circumstances, his parents are both twins who fell in love with twins. Thus making it difficult to tell his siblings apart from his cousins. Or, it would be, if the dragons themselves were not so acute at noticing small distinctions in pelts or personalities.

There were perks and consequences in being born nearly identical to so many other young. He was never alone, but he was also -never alone-. Constant hatchling scuffles increased his ability to escape or hide. He became somewhat of a charmer, learning to talk his way out of any situation or place blame on an unwitting sibling. But he also felt as if the world would never see his full potential so long as he was just one of many children raised by the two pairs of Thunder & Lightning parents.

Despite his aesthetics matching his father’s, he gained his ice magics from his mother’s nest. Twice a moon, the pairs of parents would migrate between their homes in the Sunbeam Ruins and the Southern Ice Field. The constant travel did wonders for his sense of adventure and he began to learn how to interact with strangers instead of kin.

____Once he passed his hatchling rites, he set out to begin making a name for himself. He encountered all manner of dragonkin and beastial races, learning the strengths and weaknesses of each one and how to negotiate or when to save his own skin.

____Though he could have found honest work, he was enamored with his idealized notion of adventure and took to harmless smuggling, where he could take relics from one Flight’s Domain to the next disguised as a courier. He never made a point to get into a fight he could avoid, nor would he carry any weapons of war.

After all, he had honor - even if it was a thief’s honor!

_STORMRIDER_

____His mother’s magic gave him abilities over the domain of ice, but it was never enough for the hot-blooed Coatl. Ice was a slow-moving process, both in freezing and melting. Instead, he turned his eyes to the lightning strikes and storm clouds and found solace there.

____Storm Seekers, the heralds of bad weather, became his cue to drop what he was doing and take to the skies. While he could not boast command over the lightning in the same way Stormcatcher’s Flight might, he learned by mimicking the birds how to predict and dodge lightning strikes based on the change in atmospheric pressure, or the taste on the air. He can be found racing in these storms, ahead of the lightning, darting in and out of dark clouds like a silver bolt.
