Part of the city council in Windbreak City, Leafdrop is well known as a ranger who helps to keep an eye on the environment within the perimeters of the city. Being one of the first members of the Lycan Tribe, he knows his way around the entirety of the territory as well as what the norm looks like. While his job is mostly independent, he often talks with the other city council members and has other dragons join him on patrol.

Whenever he takes dragons on patrol with him, he makes sure everyone is actually attempting to help with whatever their task is. Leafdrop makes sure that he sets a good role model for the next generation. Every once in a while, he holds classes that dragons can come to Windbreak City to partake in for half a year. The classes usually go over observing details in the environment, tracking, identifying flora and fauna, and much more. He'll often be the one who suggest the different plants that are grown around the city, although he's not the one who takes care of them.

Attached on the underside of Leafdrop's wings are mechanical prosthetic wing-supports. They were designed specifically for him by a few dragons after the city was created. They help him to have stable and controlled flight, whereas originally, he resorted to running along the ground and gliding.




History

Leafdrop was hatched in the same tribe as his biological parents, as well as alongside two others from his nest. He had been the second to hatch in his nest and was healthy at the time, living on an island between the Agave Desert and Mistral Plateau. When he was around two years old, his clan decided to move over to the Fragmented Archipelago to merge with another allied clan. Along the journey through the Mistral Plateau, Leafdrop caught an illness that the doctor of the clan wasn't able to identify. The more they travelled, the worse his conditions got. At one point along the journey, his clan stopped by the Lycan Tribe, which at the time was only Borealis, Ravine, Forst, Koronis, Cloudleap, and Nocturna. The two tribes swapped materials, and Leafdrop's parents made a difficult decision. They were worried Leafdrop wasn't going to survive the journey as he wasn't able to get proper rest on their travels. So, they gave Leafdrop to the Lycan Tribe to take care of before they continued back on their way. After taking him to the nearest town for medicine and a whole month of rest, Leafdrop recovered from the illness he had.

Even afterwards, Borealis noticed something was wrong with his wings. When he was a fledgling, his wings didn't seem to be strong enough to support his weight. After helping to strengthen the muscles in the arms of his wings, he was able to glide around. Stable, long flight was still difficult for him to do. Leafdrop didn't mind this much at all and got used to getting around on the ground, using the environment around him whenever needed to get up in the air for short amounts of time. This has made him one of the fastest dragons on foot within the city.

With most of his Life being spent on the ground, he couldn't help but observe the nature of the Lycan Tribe's territory at its fullest. Whenever he noticed a new species of bug on a tree or a new type of flower, he would tell Borealis about it once he got home. After some time, Borealis trusted him with keeping an eye on their territory. Leafdrop was able to make sure the wildlife population wasn't being dwindled down by the tribe, or that their water sources were safe to drink from.

In the concept of Windbreak City, he had helped to scout out suitable areas where the city could be built. Plus, he was able to find where materials could be found to create the buildings of the city, with paths being created where he most commonly went. After the city's creation, he talked to a few others in the city and was able to get mechanical wing supports custom-made for him. It helped to give him longer, stable flight, allowing him to do check over on the land more swiftly.

Even though flight is now an option, he still chooses the ground most of the time. He finds that it's the best way to see what's wrong in the environment, as through flight, one can't see the finer details. Every once in a while he may find a new cave or stream and will record it down on his map to be updated into the official map of the city's territory.
