Stasis isn't quite connected to everything else. Unhinged from reality, able to walk in the space between seconds, flicker through walls, and be unseen in even the most crowded of places. Some would call it a gift. He wouldn't. It's like people don't even see him sometimes. It's like they don't remember him.

And sometimes that's okay. Sometimes he does his best anyway, sometimes he's good and kind and helps people, friends, who won't be able to recall who he is or even spare him a second glance.

And sometimes it's not okay. Sometimes he kicks and screams and shatters dishes and punches walls. He wants someone to yell at him, he wants someone to pay attention enough to berate him for what he's done.

But no one comes.

Stasis is a being who is stated to be in a state of constant existential superposition: Both real and unreal. "He's literally written out of the story". He's sometimes incapable of being perceived or remembered by others. When he's not directly within view of an individual, his presence, existence, and any memories of him often completely disappear, though there are exceptions to this rule-- dragons with extrasensory perception, for example, as well as other descendants of Naomi and those born on leap days or Hallow's Eve. His dream is to become a famous musician-- to be in a concert hall, up on stage, where, for just one night, everyone will know him.
