A physiologist at heart, she's able to adequately understand the impact of being shade-touched on the body.Since the reinstatement of the Seeker Order, she is being relocated by order of the Warden Council to establish contacts in the Hewn City and study the shade in the modern age. She was initially stationed near Grimwall so she could pursue this topic in more depth. However, after meeting Pearlstar, and beginning to work with her regarding her shade corruption, the two grew close, and Thorne now lives with Pearlstar in the Cascades. Where are they from?: SSKO Research and Containment Site-79, Wyrmwound, The Scarred Wasteland (Has since been rebranded SSSKO Research and Containment Site-79)

What are they like?: She is cynical, snarky, cheerfully sardonic, and thoroughly dedicated to her work. She could easily be considered a workaholic. She can be a bit cold or uncaring when it comes to shade-touched subjects and horrorbeasts, but don't mistake this for cruelty-- after all, she's seen what those who are touched by the shade become. Can be proud and spiteful. Has taken Jinx under her wing and cares for her greatly, like a daughter, even, though she would never say as such. Kind of a *****, but not totally heartless, y'know? MILF.

What do they do?: Dedicated to her job containing, studying, and (wherever necessary) exterminating the shade and shade-touched creatures, she is, among Gaolers, considered a Keeper as well as a Doctor of Physiological Sciences. She enjoys her duties thoroughly, and employs a fairly unmerciful approach.

Why are they here?: Since the reinstatement of the Seeker Order, she is being relocated by order of the Warden Council to establish a new outpost in the general area of the Brilliant Cascade (she is far from the only Gaoler being relocated to other areas of Sornieth; they're doing their best to spread themselves out, and quickly, too.)

Aesthetic: Edgy as all hell. Blood, syringes, lab coats, and coffee mugs with dumb sayings on them. Medical. Grimdark.

Familiar: A Nochnyr named Asmodeus. "A haphazard union of spare parts." Personally, Thorne dislikes the idea that this nochnyr was put together in a haphazard manner; after all, it's a masterpiece of science and magical adeptness! Thorne is very fond of her pet, and delights in showering it with affection-- treats, pets, kisses, you name it! This creature is her baby. And Asmodeus enjoys receiving it as much as she enjoys giving it! Be careful what you say about Thorne in front of this creature; those teeth aren't just for show.
