A letter from one of his hatchlings!

Dear Mom and Dad,
I hope this letter finds the both of you well! I have reached my new clan just about a day ago and had been enjoying my stay since then. The dragons staying here are very warm and welcoming, and even showered me in numerous gifts! (Even if some might look menacing.)
Just hours ago, they told me there's an annual worldwide event going on now called the "Brightshine Jubilee" and asked me to collect strange rectangular objects called 'tablets' if I happen to find them. I wonder if the both of you are participating in it too? Either way, I found some along the way to send back home with other items you two might like!
Well, that's about it for now. I have not really done much other than getting to know my clanmates and going out to explore the land, so that's all there is to know for now! Do write back if you have the time, I would love to know how the both of you are doing and what adventures I have missed out on!
(I heard Dad has plans to change into a hatchling forever, and that terrifies me just a bit. I know he can't read small handwriting so please don't tell him that Mom!)

Dearest Valerie,
We're so glad to hear from you! It's great to know you're settling into your new home and that you're doing well. Some dragons can be very scary looking, but most of them are quite nice underneath the gruff exterior. It's always good to get to know the dragon before making up your mind about them.
We both love the gifts you sent, it was so sweet of you to do that! You really didn't have to! We're wearing them and will treasure them as much as we treasure you, our tiny little dumpling.
We've been taking part in the Brightshine Jubilee as well! Isn't it exciting? We've been helping Ivan in the lab. He's been creating accents for our Coatl friends for them to dress up in. We're going to try to make some of the tablets as well but the accents are taking a very long time. Everyone is having a great time digging for treasures, though we haven't managed to find any yet. And the trips to the coliseum are lots of adventure as well. Even the less experienced of us are able to go in the Training Grounds and look for tablets. Have you been able to go there yet? It's a lot of fun and it's not too scary. Being that you're a big, strong Snapper, you should have no problems taking down the monsters and you can find some tablets for your new clan, too. You might get super lucky and find some treasure!
We've got your things for you, now that you've settled in and found your new home. Your favorite stuffed animals, your plant, your favorite bedtime story, a chest of odds and ends we packed up for you, the bells you love to play with (your clan will love to hear you play them, you're so good at them!), your penny jars --- hopefully they won't get broken on the way to you, and some food for you and your clan.
We're also sending you your sweet kitty, George. He's missed you so much. We love him, but he has been so sad without you that we just can't bear to see him this upset. So he's got to come and live with you. Please don't let him forget us, you know we love him, too. Kiss him and love him and squeeze him and hug him and call him George. Cause that's his name, you know. You remember how he loves to sit on your tail? The two of you are so cute together. I'm sure you'll have many new and exciting adventures together in your new clan.
