The Spiral was waiting on the rocky ledge, tying flowers together by the stem to later hang on the wall. She kept glancing up from her work, looking towards the Viridian Labyrinth. The sun was setting, orange streaking across the sky, as she spotted three shapes approaching on the horizon.
"They're back!" She called back to the cave, swiftly sticking the flower tangle on the entryway and coiling up on the edge of the platform. A Wildclaw with two Spirals dancing around him landed, all of them lugging bags of leaves and flowers. Without even looking at anything else, she lovingly curled around the Wildclaw.
"Yes, yes, we're back, Miri," he chuckled, calmly walking into the cave, red eyes shining.
"Hey mom, did you put these up today?" Swithin was staring at the entryway until a breeze caught the feather in his hat, almost blowing it away. "Silly thing keeps falling out," he mumbled.
"Yes I did and give that to me so I can fix it," Miriel replied, looking back from her perch on her mate's head.
