Zori

History: Zori may look like a normal skydancer but inside beats an electric heart. She is an mix of flesh and metal; an cyborg forged in fire and brought to life through the magic of alchemy. She does not remember if she had a life beforehand. Instead of worrying about this, she lives everyday as if it could be her last, often doing everything she can to enjoy her life regardless of her half mechanical origins.

Growing up as a hatchling, she never realized that how close to death she had once been. Her birth wasn't easy as she had struggled to break free from her egg.

Once she had broken free, however; a most shocking discovery was made. Her parents found that she was missing limbs and was growing weaker by the minute. Desperate to save her, her parents sought out an talented and well-known alchemist by the name of Soaran.

Wiggling with effort, a small skydancer hatchling pushed the last of her eggshell off of her body. A soft warm breeze gusted over her and she looked up to a friendly face; her mother. "Hello my little one will, I will name you Zori." She rumbled warmly, nuzzling her new hatchling before gasping in surprise. "S-s-she has missing limbs!" Her mother cried and turned to her mate her eyes were clouded with worry.

After panting for a while Zori let out a small pitiful squeak as she tried to stand up before looking in the direction of her parents, only to fall down into a heap of scales and wings. Blinking her eyes in an attempt to stay awake, her head drooped she caught a snippet of her parents's conversation. "We have to find Soaran, I'm sure he can save her!" Her father declared determinedly.
