Biography
Born in the Northernmost part of Dragonhome, Borealis flew a methodical pattern over the world for decades in her Search. The light and warmth of the Sunbeam Ruins drew her to rest there. She was comforted by the welcoming nature of the Light clans, and admired their logic and dedication to the truth. She made friends, particularly with a mischievous Fae named Umbra. After years of rest, she found she did not want to move on, and she realized she had found her Charge: to guard and guide more young dragons in the warmth and family she had found.
She is a mapmaker, a philosopher, and a mathematician. She draws on the experience of her Search and her conversations with other travelers and familiars to make beautiful and precise maps of the world and of each of the 11 realms. The clan is often frequented by visitors who come to consult, admire, and purchase these maps. In particular, Borealis often gives away copies to young Guardians who pass through, to assist them in their search.
Now that her clan is growing, she is almost never found alone. There is almost always at least one hatchling or young dragon trailing after her. She also is determined to make the clan a welcoming place for members of the beastclans as well as dragons, and is often found deep in conversation with them.
