Biography
Illian's eternal mate, Khataal protects her during the night while the seer lives outside her body. Though she requires sleep, unlike the pearlcatcher, Khataal's incredible hearing aids her (needless) efforts to protect her loved one.
Though slightly vain, Khataal is englessly giving and supportive of the entire clan. Any new spell Orsi wants feedback on, she critiques fairly. When Temri requires relics from his long-abandoned home, she flies to find them. For others, she finds trinkets of ancient civilizations, baubles, and sometimes useful items as gifts, and has a knack for preternatural discovery, able to find any lost item with what seems to be ease.
Practically, Khataal is one of the clan's foragers, travelling daily to find plant-based foods with a small group in order to feed the clan's herbivores.
