The first of his siblings to be born with Opal, this child is favored by Wilcox, who sought to shape him into a fine mage. As a fledgling, he was taught to harness both his own inherent potential and the errant magic of Sornieth; as an adult, he was taught far darker things, from tomes written in languages only he and his kin can read. Though immensely skilled in both magic and its theories, outsiders are wary to rely on him for much more than the simplest of spells.

A thirst for knowledge is greatly appreciated in the Church of the Deep, but despite being raised by the most devout of its flock, he views its goals as secondary to the pursuit of knowledge itself. There is a passion in him not often seen in Light dragons, for that which has been hidden from mortal eyes. More than a truth-seeker, more than an agent of chaos, he is a natural-born rebel whose only aim is to learn whatever it is he ought not to.
