Personality
Svanda is a brightly colored dragon, especially against the drab grey rocks of his new home. He’s covered mainly by forest colored clothes, to keep him safe from natural predators. Svanda can be rather silent, the covering on his mouth restricting his speech in most cases. He came from another clan, one that wasn't fire, but he fit in well enough with the fiery quick tempers of the majorly fire clan. He's had a few nests of eggs, and he's very proud of all of them. Especially his trio of Coalt that he had with the only other adult Coalt female, Sankera.
Early Life
Growing up in a different Flight’s Clan, Svanda was an Arcane dragon from birth. A beautiful Coalt of grey and light pink, body swirling with Cherub patterns. His eyes were the signature pink of Arcane dragons, which stands out against his greyer body. He was one of the Strawberry Moon dragons, since so was one of his parents, what that means exactly he is unaware. Everything was going perfectly until a few days after Svanda grew into his adult form.
There was an attack on his flight by a neighboring Harpy flock. It started when one of the hatchlings had flown too close to the nest and had gotten a nasty scratch across his face. In retaliation, the clan decided to kill the offending harpy and had gotten into a battle with them. It ended with them reaching an agreement and the harpy who scratched the hatchling having their mask broken. Though, there were offenses made on the dragon’s clan. After working in the armory, Svanda had gotten horrid burns on his body, causing him to wrap them up. But they never stopped hurting. So once he heard that there was a new clan, a clan where people’s curses were healed and taken away, he left. He left and fled to the Fire Flight’s domain, and eventually found the Clan of The Cursed. There he found a new family, and a few new mates. His burns stopped hurting, but he kept the cover ups on because they had become his trademark. |

Current
Svanda had been in the clan for slightly over two months when he was promoted to deputy. He doesn’t constantly have a surplus of duties, as most of the leading is done by either Meenah or Kankri, he does have his own set of roles. Whenever one of the two leaders (or both when Meenah takes on a rather nasty curse) is out of commission, Svanda steps in and keeps the clan running smoothly. Though, since the leaders of the clan are near constantly leading, Svanda has another job that he does. He’s a scout. Since their clan thrives off of lost and hurt dragons, he has taken it upon himself to find those lost in the surrounding mass of dark stone and lava. He has a symbol from every clan, allowing him to come and go from their lands. Since becoming a Retriever, Svanda has found and saved over twenty dragons, bringing them back to his clan to be healed. Retrievers are the team of dragons of all breeds that go out and recruit dragons from other clans to join theirs. Normally, Retrievers are used to expand the clan, but in The Clan of The Cursed, Retrievers are used to find those suffering under curses and bring them to Meenah and Kankri for them to cure. Since becoming Deputy and Retriever, Svanda has had a few nests worth of hatchlings. Most of which ended up being imperials (thanks to him pairing off with Bloodmoon) but he does have three direct descendents that are Coalts with the other Coalt in the clan (named Sankera). Their children are named Hallow, Samhain, and Valentine. He loves how beautiful they are, and plans to hatch again with Sankera when their timers are both up. Even though he’s a embassy to and from each clan, Svanda has kept up a healthy social life and has even befriended a frog (which rides on his tail with him) and a Somber Spirit that has imbued itself within his Amulet of Necromancy. The Forest Rogue apparel items mark him as a Retriever, and he pulls it off rather well. |

Trivia

After the incident with the harpy clan in his young adulthood, Svanda now keeps the masks of harpies that he’s vanquished in the coliseum. They’re hung around the upper walls of his nest, using a small shelf of stone that he carved out with the help of a guardian clanmate. He made his nest out of soft palm fronds he gathered in the Water territory, and there’s a smaller nest in a tiny alcove in the wall where his frog sleeps. His familiar retreats into the amulet at night, but in case he wants to roam free, Svanda has a few bottles of Enchanted Remains opened up and set into the walls. He also works in the coliseum, though less than Bloodmoon and Meenah. Svanda is used to go faster, to keep going on and on, and get the most food and materials.  |
