Fjord of the Crows
"Stand back, and watch me... go!"
Although he is a good-hearted dragon, Fjord is a trained warrior, and can go out on a full-fledged rampage when angered. He wears the traditional face paint and feathers of his birth clan, and is skilled with using a sword. The spiral finds comfort in his small and gentle mate, Cinthia the fae. He is highly protective of her to the point where he would die for her sake. His loyalty to the clan is something that should not be questioned.
Regarding the communication barrier between Fjord and Cinthia, it was difficult to comprehend the body language of faes at first. Where he came from, faes were sparse, and he did not talk to those he knew often. But with the mass amount of faes in his new home, he made an effort to learn their unusual body language for better communication. Observation was not something he was good at, as his instincts to fly around often overcame him. Stillness was a problem all spirals had, and it requires much concentration to resist the urge to succumb to hyperactiveness.
Even with how close the two are, Fjord and Cinthia often have moments of miscommunication. Although Fjord is better at reading the expressive crests of faes than most dragons, the lack of emotion in Cinthia's voice unsettles him at times. Cinthia is even worse at communicating with him. As she is not good at reading other dragons' emotions like all faes, misinterpretations are inevitable. Knowing about their difficulties, they often apologize at each other whenever one mistakes the sentence for something else.
Nonetheless, many of his clanmates often come up to Fjord to ask him how he does it.
"Do what?" he asks.
"Communicate with faes!" they reply. Many add their own little comments. Mariana had once commented that communication with the tiny species is almost impossible for her.
In the end, Fjord and Cinthia have a stable relationship, bound to last a long time.
