A happy-go-lucky wind spirit living in the Tangled Wood, Marisha, true to her birth flight, is an explorer, charting maps of places where her clan would like to go. Like most Spirals, she is energetic and rather hyperactive, often encouraging others to follow her for an adventure. She is so kind-hearted to a fault, where others often take advantage of her kindness to get what they want.

Long ago, Marisha was born to a set of happy parents living in the Cloudsong. Everything was perfect, and when the young Spiral grew up, she became a traveler who wished to see the world. However, the peaceful bliss she lived in would soon be tainted by a horrible accident in the Tangled Wood.

Mistaken for an enemy up in the air, she was shot down by a clan of archers living in Foxfire Bramble. The incident caused her to plummet to the ground from a startling height, and without functioning wings, she was ensnared in the brambles, which dragged her down and killed her.

Years past, and no one had heard anything from her. Soon, she was forgotten, her spirit still trapped in the crushing brambles. Marisha was a ghost, unable to move on to the afterlife. Later, a dragon belonging to the clan she lives in today discovered her body. There, her spirit manifested into one of bamboo and wind, green smoke rolling off of her ethereal body.

To repay her savior, she joined the clan she lives in today, and now serves as what she always wanted to be - a cartographer of the places they explore, and the friendly spirit does this to this day.

"A...flashlight?" Upon hearing the question, Marisha shook her head, a few bamboo leaves falling from her horns. "No. Even if you can see them from a distance, my eyes aren't that bright." Then, she snickered, a smile coming on her face. "I mean, I guess someone could if they ever wanted to, but there's a few Light dragons in my clan who can do the job a lot better. But even then, most dragons in the clan are adapted to the darkness. We all can see in it pretty well, even here in the Tangled Wood."
