Biography
mialczot
Keeper of pets
Lover of soft things (like cats)
has an affinity for the white spiral in bold city, they do everything together when he visits
Mialczot held his breath as he plunged beneath the grey, still water. He was diving in the pearl graveyard, full of pearlcatchers hundreds of years dead, and their most prized possessions. The blue fae had told Mials that he should be careful here, that the location was a sacred place. But Mialczot did not heed the warnings of creatures smaller than his own head. As the blue bogsneak curled his talons around one of the largest pearls, he boosted himself from the ocean floor with a great kick. The building fire in his lungs told him his lungs would need to be refilled with oxygen soon. The kick disturbed a lot of sediment, and the fog's grey tendrils seemed to curl around the Pearlcatcher's distressed skeleton. He swam upwards, and upwards. This is much deeper than I remember, thought Mials. He chanced a glance backwards. He was still a mere ten feet from the body. Desperately, he kept swimming. The fire in his lungs was blazing now. Hurry, hurry!
The elderly blue fae shakily adjusted the photo frame showing a congregation of Pearlcatchers at a table, smiling and laughing with each other. Another skeleton had been added to the graveyard that day, just as the Tidelord told it. Her family would be protected for years to come.
