Seiryu

Hailing from the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Seiryu is gifted the ability to peer into the future. Always striving to perfect his craft, Seiryu practices every day to ensure he is mentally prepared to take on the task. He frowns upon those faking their visions, seeing them as nothing but stains tarnishing the reputation of more respectable seers. To that end, he will often expose the fraud's practices with no remorse.

Seiryu conceals his face behind a hood while he works, only as a way to further mystify his audience. A dragon has to entertain a crowd, right? When not reading visions, Seiryu tends to mediate or read books to pass the time. Sometimes he can be found staring out into the water, unfazed of any movement around him. Young hatchlings take this opportunity to leap on him and then soon after Seiryu waking from his daze to find his mane has been braided or his entire body buried beneath the sand. This only amuses him.

Rumors began spreading of a crystal protected by an Arcane clan that was said to grant the slumbering user a vision of their future. At first Seiryu believed it all to be a hoax until he decided to investigate himself. Arriving to his destination, the clan were more than eager to show him the crystal. He had been intrigued by the crystal's shape--a crescent moon--said to have been found this way by the clan matriarch. That night he nestled beside the crystal to test out the rumor. What he saw in his dream astounded him. A disembodied voice spoke out to him before he realized it was the very crystal calling him. Seiryu concluded the crystal in some way was 'alive' as he kept continuing to slumber next to it.

Seiryu realized his own prophetic visions had become stronger the more he lingered. He eventually resolved to become a member of the Dreaming Moon clan. As time went on, many of his clanmates come to him to inquire about the future of themselves or their hatchlings.
