Biography

Anhur
Mediator of the Dreaming Moon Clan
o2Mk7My.png
Qh0W3wI.png His early life had not started out easy. Anhur could remember the sounds, smell and touch from the day of his hatching. Seeing was another matter. He was born blind, a fact his father had been upset over to the point that Anhur still feels ashamed of. Plague dragons were a proud sort, thriving in the harsh environment of the Scarred Wasteland. Would Anhuri had been able to survive well past into adulthood? He was certainly determined to find out.

He learned to adapt to his surroundings, using his other senses to guide him. Anhur was forbidden from joining the hunt with the rest of the clan, forced to stay in the lair, but it did persuade him to further improve himself. Listening to the faintest sounds inside his home, smelling the familiar scent of his family members and relying on touch to move around, his feats didn't go unnoticed. His father finally decided to put Anhur to the test.

The pair traveled far from their lair. Anhur's father told him he'd had to find his way back by himself and then promptly left. Alone, Anhur felt his heart grow heavy. The task seemed almost impossible, but Anhur tried to remain calm. He could do this. Allowing his senses to take over, he surveyed the surrounding area before deciding on a direction to take.
Two days went by and his clan began to worry. They nearly begged Anhur's father for permission in order to start a search party until one of the clan's scouts noticed something flying towards their lair. Anhur, although exhausted, had indeed returned back home. His father couldn't have been more prouder. From then on Anhur was allowed to participate in several of the clan's activities such as hunting, but he had taken an interest in leadership roles. A few times Anhur had presided over clan meetings, always making the most fair decisions. In fact he had become popular in mediating disputes.

The time came when Anhur felt he needed a change of scenery. The entire clan came together, adorning him in the finest jewelry as a parting gift. Lastly his father had given him a pendant to serve as a reminder of Anhur's accomplishments. When Anhur was ready, he took flight, only hearing the sounds of his clan's farewells. He had no set location in mind, just letting his senses take him wherever felt best.

Finally landing on soft grass, Anhur felt a claw touch on hard stone. He continued examining the object, realizing it wasn't just any stone, it was a crystal. That was when he knew he was in the Starfall Isles. Taking his time to familiarize himself with the new environment, a group of dragons had noticed him in the distance. Intrigued by his actions, they moved closer until they were within earshot of Anhur. While he didn't detect a threat from them, he still wanted to know who they were.

After giving each other introductions, Anhur was invited by the group to visit their clan. Initially he was only going to stay awhile to rest, but the warm welcoming from the Dreaming Moon Clan had been enough for him to decide to stay as a permanent member. Lately Anhur has taken up the same positions he held in his previous clan, having proven himself to be a valuable ally.
