The following month, enough parchment to make up a small library, along with headaches for weeks and coffee to last a year had been spent on mindmapping, scrapping and recreating the building blocks of what would become a basic concious mind. It was not perfect, she knew that. But nothing amazing had come flawlessly at first.
Bonici is an apprentice under Knarr, but has chosen a focus on code and computer science. She wants to develop sentient machines Sornieth has never seen before, and she has already taken many big steps towards that goal. Knarr trusts her with his life that she keeps the top secret information about his work secure until the product is released. Bonici is not embarassed to admit she's a huge nerd. And it doesn't take more than one look at her to know it. She is the first to know when a codelock in the lair has stopped working, or when the next Iron Man movie comes out. Bonici carries a complex tool belt she designed herself and built with the help of Knarr and Baebres. It consists of a big "start button" along with a few smaller command buttons around it, such as "undo", "redo", "exit", "copy/insert" and "test run" buttons. In between hard but passionate work, she enjoys a game called "What's that item?" where blindfolded dragons guess what it is they're touching. Her favorite item to pick when playing with new dragons is an oozing tusk. They will instantly get grossed out and can't normally guess correctly until taking the blindfold off what the heckie that thing is. She likes to eat marsh chokers because of their faint blue glow and because she looks amusingly much like one herself. |
