decorator | mute | ghost

name_border.png

Arimara is the decorator of the circus and is responsible for the seemingly endless supply of flowers that the dancers have during their performance. Although she doesn't speak, she likes to think that she talks with the power of beauty and tries her hardest to make the circus as decorative and as pretty as possible. She tends to conflict with some of the quieter and closed-off members, believing they don't need the circus to look so busy and bright, but as Arimara only listens to Sasta, she pays them no heed.
The Spiral has come from a long line of decorators, one even claiming they decorated for a deity themselves, but could never provide proof. Her special eyes allow her to see farther horizontally than most dragons, which allow her to observe which decorations should go where and what looks best in her eyes. She hopes that the circus will grow big enough to gain the attraction of the Windsinger so that she can decorate for him - and have actual proof of it.

Although Arimara isn't actually a spirit, she has obtained the nickname "Ghost" for her strange affiliation with the undead. Her room is covered with incense and strange pebbles that she deems are too important to throw away, and the way Arimara moves around could be described as "haunting" or "ghost-like". In addition to her inability to speak, Arimara is mistaken for an actual ghost by visitors, and some think that she haunts the place due to their originally-bad decor.

tumblr_ph64flyTl71wgebr5o3_250.png Arimara only has respect for Sasta and is the only one she will listen to. Otherwise, she will tune everyone out and become busy in her own buzzing mind, coming up with new ideas on how to make the circus even more beautiful. Sasta herself doesn't really mind, although she worries sometimes about the deputes Arimara can get into with Shardbreaker, who actively replaces Arimara's decorations with things he says look much better.
