Bright Minds

As the resident chasers for the clan, Lightning and Madric gather and harness the power of lightning. Whatever is leftover from trading with other clans is then left for the clan engineers to experiment on.

Constantly tinkering with automaton parts carried over from the Golem Workshop, as well with whatever mechanical parts have been left over by their latest failure, Data and Shortcircuit are tasked with creating technology that might aid the clan in their daily lives, and that may be traded with allied clans for treasure.
A goal easier set than done, as most of their experiments end in spectacular explosions and not a lot of progress.

The few experiments that worked currently reside with the pair in their laboratory, mechanical creatures fixed back to working conditions and that now aid the imperials in their research.

Hello

ShortCircuit's specialty and pet project is communication devices. Though he hardly hopes to replace the clan's couriers - specially since they are close friends to his mate and useful volunteers for his experiments - the imperial still seeks for a way in which he might be able to communicate with his peers and clan mates without the use of cumbersome letters and frantic dashes to get a message to an ally in time.

After researching the creatures found in the Golem Workshop, he is thoroughly convinced that there must be a non-verbal form of communication between the mechanical creatures that inhabit the area.
Unfortunately, dismantling them doesn't seem to bring many results, and after threats from the queen he has had to - temporarily - give up on his studies, before his familiar rights are revoked.

Although, he's pretty sure he can study his current helper without permanent damages. Probably.
