Mystic Healer Dust to Dust Born to a clan deep in the realm of the Flamecaller, Elphaba was used to scavenging for resources from birth, accompanying her parents and clan mates as they searched the vast expanse around them for food and valuables to trade with the neighboring clans. So once she was sent to her new home in the Icewarden’s domain, the small skydancer simply fell into her old habits and into her role as a scavenger for the clan. With a sharp eye and even sharper tongue, one may argue that it was better to leave the female be among bones rather than among the living. With her mate she travels throughout all flights, looking for ruins and abandoned settlements that may have valuable items and artifacts for her to collect. It’s not uncommon for other to request of her to being some specific materials for their own projects and jobs, and though not many would willingly spend time with her, her presence is tolerated, even though her trade is still seen with prejudice. Rather than a grave robber, Elphaba likes to consider herself an archeologist of sorts, and enjoys sharing her discoveries with Thorne – alas, the only one to be as excited as her about a fresh carcass. Due to her constant courier services, with time Elphaba has picked up some healing skills from Mint, and often brings back new herbs for them to experiment with. Exploring in places where the royal healer would never go, she has access to some… questionable herbs and shrooms, giving her particular brand of healing a darker reputation – although she swears she uses nothing but freshly ground bones, and that she always makes sure the skinks are dry before adding them to her concoctions.
