At first glance, no one would ever peg Tyr as a trainer of the dragons assigned to serve the IceWarden. Soft spoken and the smaller of imperial in the clan, he is an easy-going dragon, patient with his pupils and always quick to offer advice when they succeed and a laugh when they fail. In Tyr's opinion the young dragons being trained take themselves entirely too seriously.

A skilled fighter, the male uses his small size to his advantage, being fast on his feet and quick-witted when it comes to fighting bigger opponents. Maybe because of that he can relate to his trainees, understanding why the skydancers and nocturnes under his wing would be intimidated when facing the mighty beastclan opponents.

His goofy and warm nature, however, is not to be tested. The imperial often wears a gold necklace given to him by his mate, and he won't have any teasing because of it. Instead, he turned the flashy jewelry into a game. He only considers his students ready for the battlefield when they can hit the glowing gem while in combat with him. The necklace is not exactly in pristine condition anymore, but Tyr is proud of the battle scars as much as the lack of them. After all, he's only as good as the soldiers he trains.
