Uptight, stern, and a touch pompous, Micah primarily functions as Home's majordomo (that is, he is responsible for running messages, keeping Home's leadership informed, and making sure Home is running smoothly). He is the fastest flyer (and talker) at Home, and to hear him tell it, he represents the thin line between order and certain disaster. An orphan from the Lightning Flight, a common theory around Home is that Micah is most likely half-Fae - he's hardly half the size of most other Skydancers at Home. A bit of a self-important fellow, Micah doesn't really find these theories all that humourous, and when someone accidentally insults him about his small size is generally the only time he stops talking.

Micah's reputation for being a bit stern is largely due to his least favourite part of his job, which is taking care of the hatchlings. He is frequently tasked with watching Home's hatchlings when the rest of the leadership is busy, and the youngest dragons tend to think of him as being too strict and not much fun at all. Though he is a stickler for the rules, and likely always will be, the older dragons at Home - who are more trustworthy not to do things such as run directly off a cliff - are privy to Micah's more humourous side. He has a dry sense of humour and loves puns, meaning his jokes can easy fly over a hatchling's head. The nature of his job, running about all day and always keeping busy, means he can be a bit easily irritable and snappish, and his temper is perhaps best described as "fragile." Though he's always on time to bring the morning news report to Home's leadership, he's not the best dragon for a crisis and can panic rather easily. Despite his more eccentric qualities, Micah also has a deep loyalty to Home and cares about every dragon, and though he rarely bites back a sharp comment, he is never unkind for the sake of it. Most dragons know that he would willingly throw himself into danger for even the most annoying hatchling in his care.
