(Wild Nature-Based Potions) Potions made through traditional recipes In the dark depths of the shadow lands, hatched a baby Ebony, to a clan that lived in a labyrinth of tunnel systems. Their parents were the best of the clan's gathers, using their agility, sharp claws and heightened sense of smell so find the most nutrious food. At a very young age, Ebony took after their parents, learning how to gather which plants for eating and which for medicinal purposes. The whole clan lived off cave vegetation without any problems, there was something in that cave floor soil that gave the plants all the right vitamins and minerals to sustain them without having to surface. This meant that Ebony developed in a way that lessened their eyesight strength and heightened their smell and hearing. Effectively Ebony was blind in the light, and preferred the darkness of the ground. So when Ebony finally chose to head off on their own, they dug most the way and when they couldn't, they would travel at night. As the hatchlings of this clan grew up, it was very normal for quite a few to dig off to make their own nest of tunnels, starting their own families. Ebony's plan wasn't to start a family or a new clan, but more to find an already built home and settle there. They went looking for the people not the place, home was a feeling, not a structure. And that was what they found; Ebony had wandered into a growing township in the middle of the night. Even at night, the town still had life, dragons waking up early to do their jobs or staying up late to socialize. The whole town was very used to welcoming strangers into their midst and making them at home. So Ebony was welcomed with open arms and helped to find a cozy house in the towns middle. To make themselves even more at home, they dug a deep hole leading to a burrow underneath the house. A place to remind them of home and somewhere to brew their potions, a passion that developed on their travels. A passion which garnered quite the popularity with the locals, who loved the tinctures and salves Ebony crafted to deal with minor issues. They also partnered with the town's preserver Sterling Gloom to make mythical preserves for each flight festival that gave the eater different effects.
